Install Problems

Problem #1 The program has been successfully installed but the Desktop Icon repeatedly kicks off the program's install process.

Cause #1 The program was downloaded and installed to the desktop.
Cause #2  There is a bad "Start In" or "Target" Folder. Right click on the Icon an view properties

a) Delete the desktop Icon to remove it from your desktop.

b) Download the program again or copy the existing file to another folder. If you download the program again, save it to a folder such as "MY DOCUMENTS".

c) Use Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder, click the file to install. Make sure it installs to the programs files folder. This is the default, it is best to hit the next button until the finish button comes into view. Windows explorer can be found by clicking the Start Button / Program Files / Accessories . Some versions of Windows have Windows Explorer under Start Button / Program Files towards the bottom.  Note: This is not Internet Explorer.

Once step C is complete you can start the program with the Start Button/ Program Files / TTS version (tts03 /02 2000)

d) Create a desktop icon by doing the following
1) Right click anywhere on the desktop to get the popup menu.
2) Select NEW
3) Select Short Cut
4) Navigate to the program, it will usually be in the Program Files folder. You will probably have to open "My Computer" then the "C:" Drive by clicking the +
5) Click the Next button until the Finish button appears and click the Finish
